These Conditions are the standard terms and conditions that apply to the booking of a room at Taigh Selladh Fèifh.

Terms & Conditions of Stay

Check-in / Check-out

Check in time is from 4.30 pm – 7.00 pm. If you will be checking in later or are delayed, that is not a problem, please let us know your ETA by text, phone, or email.

Check out time is 10.00 am. If you are in no hurry and wish to have a coffee in the lounge after 10.00 am that is fine as long as your room is vacated by this time so we can start to get it ready for the next guest.

Reservations

All reservations are held with a credit or debit card to secure your booking but we will not take any payment off your card until day of departure.

Pets / Children

Regrettably we do not accept pets. Children over the age of 10 years old are welcome and must reside in a room by themselves as we have no provision for extra beds in the rooms.

Cancellations

Cancellation within 5 days before the booked accommodation date will incur a 100% charge. The full cost of all days booked will be charged to the card provided, as security. If we are able to re-let your room, then we will contact you for a refund. No shows will incur 100% charge.

If after arrival, you fail to stay for the full period of your booking Taigh Selladh Fèidh will be entitled to recover from you the full amount as reimbursement for revenue lost as a result of the rom sitting empty.

Emergency Procedures

In the event of a fire please follow the fire action procedures displayed in your room. Please note for Police, Fire Brigade and Ambulance emergencies please call 999.

Damages

We know that accidents happen from time to time, so if you have any problems, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can rectify or replace any item.

We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of rectifying damage to cover costs of materials and labour. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guest’s credit/debit card. Any extra cleaning due to spillages on the bedding, furniture, and carpets, may incur an extra cleaning fee.

Removal of guest house property

We reserve the right to charge guests the cost of replacing any items that are removed from the premises by them without consent. The charge will be the full replacement amount of the missing item, including any carriage charges. Should the fact that the item is missing come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to make a charge to the guests credit/debit card, or send an invoice for the amount to the registered address.

Liability

Taigh Selladh Fèifh does not accept responsibility for guests’ belongings which are lost or damaged especially valuable items such as cash and jewellery. We do not accept responsibility for damage to cars and other vehicles of any kind.

If we find any lost property, we will make every reasonable effort to locate the owner and return it, but if we cannot locate the owner and an item is not reclaimed within 3 months of the guest’s departure it will be disposed of by the Guest House.

Please ensure that you check your room before leaving.
